Medical Label Prototype

Capstone Project included all steps in the design thinking process including research, user interviews, Lo-fi/hi-fi prototypes and user testing.

Problem Statement
Improve the readability of labels and packaging of medication / healthcare products for U.S. seniors who live independently. This problem is important to solve to allow seniors (65+) to remain independent without needing assistance to read labels or packaging as well as reduce errors due to lack of readability. While there are rules and regulations on context many design elements such as the use of color are only recommendations and this area depending on the use can result in readability issues.
